Dustin M. Chiodo, 35, of Bentleyville, died Sunday June 27, 2021. Born Oct. 9, 1985, in Pittsburgh, he is the husband of Katie Chiodo of Bentleyville. A 2004 graduate of Ringgold High School, Dustin worked as a boilermaker for the Local Union No. 154, where he was respected for his great abilities and work ethic by his co-workers. A speed and adrenaline junkie, Dustin loved riding his motorcycle, boating and fishing in the Mon River, along with his passion for using his smoker and cooking. Surviving are his wife, Katie Kennedy Chiodo, whom he married Aug. 18, 2012; his parents, John Jr. and Carol Matson Chiodo; his paternal grandmother, Lucille “Lou” Chiodo of Monongahela; his wife’s parents, Mark and Mary Jo Kennedy of Hampton Township; aunts and uncles, Alvin and Lisa Mucci of Monongahela, Larry and Michele Abel of Finleyville and Bill Matson of Washington, Pa.; brother-in-law, Christopher Kennedy of Edison, N.J.; along with many loving cousins and good friends. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandfather, John Chiodo Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Alice Matson. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, at which time services will begin with Pastor Brent Furlong officiating.
