She was born on March 23, 1939, in Monessen, the daughter of the late George and Anna Mancuso Sutovich. Judy was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. She was very active in the community, volunteering her time to Campfire Girls and to the Mon Valley Youth and Teen Association, where she served as executive director. Additionally, there were trips to Gettysburg, Williamsburg, Disney World and the Bahamas. In December 1994, her first of three grandchildren was born, which prompted her to retire. She spent the next 12 years caring for her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Albert “Bootie” Stepoli; and by two sisters, Mildred Quigley and Darlene Boyle. Left to cherish her memory are her son, John “J.B.” Baldwin; her daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Simsic of Rostraver Township; three grandchildren, Joseph, Tyler and Sarah Simsic, all of Rostraver Township; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her precious cats that brought her so much joy. Friends will be received at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. & CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
