With one of Monongahela’s biggest outdoor events just weeks away, the city’s Main Street Program says it still has space for any interested vendors that would like to participate.
The Monongahela Youth Main Street Program’s third annual Railroad Street Fair is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. July 4.
The rain-or-shine event is part of the city’s Fourth of July celebration, and the one-block street fair will feature up to 30 booths with food, crafts, games, music and arts activities, educational stations and other attractions.
Even though the fair is just around the corner, Monongahela Main Street Executive Director Terry Necciai said he’s still looking for vendors to fill out the roster.
“We still have seven or eight tents available to what we already have,” Necciai said. “We’re looking for crafts and railroad-related items. Anything that falls under arts that engages people. I’d like to find people that do things educational for the kids.”
