McKeesport Area School District Superintendent Dr. Mark Holtzman Jr. thanked district police officers and staff members who acted quickly when faced with an unthinkable, “unfortunate situation” earlier this month.
During a virtual agenda meeting Wednesday, Holtzman gave a letter of commendation, sent by White Oak Mayor Ina Jean Marton, to educator Susan Williamson, Principal David Listorti, MASD police Chief Robert Boyle, district police Officer Carl Kuzel and security officers Angelique Fowler and Ken Obusek.
A criminal complaint filed by Allegheny County police didn’t reveal the names of many of the individuals who had the best interest of young children in mind when they acted to stop a father and his girlfriend from leaving Francis McClure Elementary School in White Oak on May 5.
