Mariruth Daniels – Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Monessen

Mariruth Daniels of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Monessen, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2021. Mariruth was born on March 30, 1930, in Roscoe. She and Russell, her husband of 66 years, moved to Lakeland in 1986. She was a member of St. Cajetan Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and wife. Mariruth was predeceased by her husband, Russell Daniels; parents, Fred and Katherine Risher; her daughter, Natalie Ann Daniels; her brother, Fred Risher Jr.; and her great-grandson, Russell Scott Huffman. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Huffman Costine (Bill) of Lakeland, Fla., and Danee Marie Batiste (Brian) of Fulshear, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Morgan of Roscoe and Evelyn Mizerak of Butler; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Our loving mother, grandmother and sister will live forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed. A Mass of resurrection was held on Monday, March 22, 2021, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Lakeland, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2140 East C.R. 540A, Lakeland, FL 33813.
