Born on April 8, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alma Byrne Jericho. She attended Charleroi High School and the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She worked briefly as a hairdresser before having children. She was married to the love of her life, David J. Sphar, who survives, for 55 years. Also surviving are her children, Tracey Sphar Kash and boyfriend Brooks Fox, Kellie Jo Sphar and boyfriend Shawn Jenkins and Heather Sphar; grandson, Roman Kash and his girlfriend Annamarie Ball, who was her pride and joy; brother, Jerry Jericho and wife Pamela and their daughter, Amber; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved dog, Winston. She was a 50-year member of the Pine Cove Beach Club, where she loved to socialize with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to casinos, going to her grandson’s hockey games and just being the life of any get-together. At her request, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Donations can be made in her name to her favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Online condolences may be sent to www.spallinofuneralhome.com.
