Terry Shipley – Monessen

Terry Shipley, 81, of Monessen, died Thursday, March 25, 2021, in Jefferson Hills Manor, Pittsburgh. He was born on June 28, 1939, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Margaret Pearl Shipley. Terry grew up in Roscoe and was raised by his maternal grandparents, Leroy and Edith Shipley. Terry was a California High School graduate. He worked at Guttman Supply as a truck driver and later at Donora Lumber. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army Reserves. Terry was Presbyterian by faith, but attended Mass at Epiphany of our Lord Church with his wife, Marie Organ Shipley. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother-in-law, Tony (Diane) Organ; two sisters-in-law, Martha (David) Rock and Michele Kruppa; and nieces and a nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Kruppa. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, with Father Joel Boco officiating. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
