Tierra ‘Girt’ Sha’Cole Ward – Donora

Again, the heavenly bound train stopped in Donora on March 13, 2021, and Tierra “Girt” Sha’Cole Ward, 29, stepped on board. She was born on Oct. 20, 1991, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A daughter of Aleasa Suzane Ward and Dwane Lewis Youngblood, Tierra “Girt” was a graduate of Ringgold High School. She was recently employed at Big Lots in Belle Vernon as a cashier and she also worked at Armandos in Monessen for eight years. Tierra “Girt” was the life of the party to anyone who knew her. She represented Donora as much as she could as being her hometown. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Dwane Lewis Youngblood and her grandmother, Kathryn Dian Newsom. Tierra is survived by her two beautiful daughters, whom she adored, Za’Ryiah Babich and Zi’yah Robinson, both of Donora; two sisters and two brothers; Taraja Ward of Donora, Tenisha Youngblood of Pittsburgh, Tequoia Youngblood of Monessen and Tyrese Youngblood of Donora; 10 nieces and nephew; a lot of aunts, uncles, cousins; godmother, Shawn Ross; godfather, Aaron Jackson; one special, lifelong friend, Daisha Majors of Donora; and a host of other family and friends to cherish her fond memories and her life-of-the-party attitude and smile. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 541 Allen Ave., Donora, Pa. with the Rev. Quallan T. Hawkins and Pastor and Rev. Eric Johnson doing the eulogy. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa., Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
