Joan Yohe Thornton – Warren, Mich., formerly of New Eagle

Joan Yohe Thornton, 72, of Warren, Mich., formerly of New Eagle, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was the oldest daughter of the late John B. and Ann Yohe. Joan graduated in 1966 from Monongahela High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania. Joan was employed as retail office administrator for Art Van Furniture Company in Warren, Mich., for 40 years. She is survived by a daughter, Kelly Niszczak and husband Joseph of Lansdale, Pa.; a son, Sean Cronin of Warren, Mich.; grandsons, Connor and Declan Niszczak. She is also survived by sister, Linda Yohe of New Eagle. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021, in Michigan with interment at the Monongahela Cemetery at a later date.
