Anthony A. Nasal Jr., 72, of Finleyville, Union Township, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, in Meadowcrest Nursing Home, Bethel Park. Born Feb. 11, 1949, in New Eagle, he was the son of the late Anthony Sr. and Alicia Ramirez Nasal. He loved spending time on his farm. After his graduation in 1967 from Monongahela High School, while Tony was attending California University, he was drafted by the U.S. Army and served the next two years during the Vietnam War. Surviving are a daughter, Candi Jo Esper and fiancé Kevin Wilson of Monongahela; two sisters, Ilona and husband Brett Boyd of New Eagle and Christina Kennedy of Finleyville; three grandchildren, Tea, Rilyn and Aubrey Esper; his former son-in-law, Jeffrey Esper of Monongahela; and Collin Manack of Buena Vista. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Elaine “Billee” Manack, who died March 2, 2012. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St. Monongahela, 724-258-6767 for a memorial celebration from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21.
