Freda Anthony, 89, of Greensburg, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. Born in Sutersville on Oct. 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Susan Snyder Flack. Freda attended Ella Hollow Bible Church. She taught Sunday school and enjoyed teaching the high school students. She loved to sketch and draw pictures. She is survived by her sons, David Anthony of Lakeland, Fla., and Tim (Valerie) Anthony of Belle Vernon; granddaughter, Kaelyn Anthony; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Rayden and Ryder; and longtime friend, Richard Swarlis of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin A. Anthony; son, Mallvern W. Anthony; and brother, Larry Flack. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
