Donnis J. Beadling, 84, of Charleroi, formerly of Bentleyville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, in Mon Valley Care Center. She was born June 4, 1936, in Bentleyville, a daughter of the late Roy F. and Alberta McGary Lane. Mrs. Beadling was a 1954 graduate of Bentleyville High School and had been employed for 20 years in the shipping/receiving department of SKC Inc. in Eighty Four, Pa. retiring in 1999. She attended Garwood Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and friends as well as crocheting, church choir, community choir, theatre, singing at weddings and her cat “Lilbit” and her dog “Chiquita.” She is survived by four sons, Michael Lee Marshman (Sarah) of Fallowfield Township, Timothy Marshman of Charleroi, George “Bill” Marshman of Perryopolis and Steve Beadling of Charleroi; one daughter, “Kitty” Beadling Drass (Scott) of Bentleyville; three brothers, Robert Lane (Lisa) of Canonsburg, Howard Lane (Barb) of Uchland, Pa., and Roy Lane (Sherri) of Homosassa, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Gauthier of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Rosemary Becker of Wilmerding. Deceased in addition to her parents are her husband, Harry C. Beadling; daughter, Amanda R. “Mandy” Beadling; brothers, Dennis Lane and David Lane; one sister, Leona Priesendorfer; grandson, Eric Marshman; and brother-in-law, Richard Gauthier. Due to COVID-19, a private visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at GREENLEE’S BENTLEYVILLE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, Pa. A private interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Beadling family c/o Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, PA 15314.
