Mary Lou Perry Wilson – Carroll Township
Mary Lou Perry Wilson, 84, of Carroll Township, passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Nov. 23, 1936, in Donora, a daughter of the late Samuel A. Perry Sr. and Mary Margaret Toretti Perry. She was a 1954 graduate of Donora High School. Mrs. Wilson worked as a certified nursing assistant in the emergency department of Monongahela Valley Hospital for 35 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard “Dick” Wilson on Sept. 18, 2017; a sister, Caroline “Carol” Jericho; a brother, Samuel A. Perry Jr.; a sister in-law, Josephine D’Egidio Perry; and a brother in-law, James “Jake” Jericho. Surviving to cherish her memory are her four sons, Richard (Janet) Wilson of Robinson Township, Mark (Karen) Wilson of Monongahela, Kevin (Tina) Wilson of Carroll Township and Ken Wilson (Aubrey Nichols) of Carroll Township; six grandchildren, Hillary (George), Sean (Jaclyn), Marcus (Ashley), Ryan (Amanda), Krista (Denny) and Mia; three great- grandchildren, Cade, Carson and Adelyn; a sister, Rosemarie “Babe” (Ron) Koscelek of Florida; and a brother, Eugene Perry of Monongahela; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Private interment will take place at Monongahela Cemetery. To be socially responsible during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to limit the attendance to 25 people inside the funeral home at any given time. Guests are asked to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines which include masks within the funeral home.
