Edward “Buzz” Fiorill, 77, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. passed away on Nov. 21, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Gelotti Fiorill; daughter, Karen Dunay (James Proctor); and son, Ed Fiorill. He is also survived by sister, Maryanne Tucci (Joseph); brother, Joe (Rose); brother-in-law, Anthony Gelotti (Paula) and many loving nephews and nieces. Preceding him in death were his parents, Catherine and Ed Fiorill; and his in-laws, Mickey and Madeline Gelotti. Buzz grew up in Monessen, later moved to Belle Vernon and relocated to Saratoga Springs, N.Y., in 2015. He graduated from MHS in 1961 and California State College in 1965. He taught in the Pittsburgh Public Schools for over 30 years. Buzz was an avid outdoorsman and fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams. During August of each year, he was at the Saratoga Race Track with his daughter. He was a lifelong member of St. Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon, where he served as a Eucharistic minister and usher. Buzz was a caring, devoted, hard-working father and never stopped helping family, friends and neighbors. He was loved by all. Because of the current pandemic, a small, private celebration of his life will be held on his daughter’s property. Additionally, a funeral Mass and celebration of his life will be held in Belle Vernon for his family and friends at a later date. The family suggests memorials to Saratoga Hospital Foundation, 211 Church St., Saratoga Springs, N.Y. 12866.
