James W. Wagner Jr. – Belle Vernon

James W. Wagner Jr., 89, of Belle Vernon, passed away Sunday Nov. 29, 2020, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born April 23, 1931, in Eldora, Pa., son of the late James W. Wagner Sr. and Cecilia Hazzard Wagner. Mr. Wagner served his country in the Army and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes Wagner; a daughter, Bonnie Galayda; sisters, Cecilia Wagner and Violet Novak; and a brother, Charles Wagner. Survivors include his daughter, Belinda D. Staffieri (Nick) of Rostraver Township; son-in-law, John Galayda of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Lisa Quattro (James), John (JJ) Galayda, Nicholas Staffieri (Ashley), Amy Scott (Justin) and Jorden McCaskill; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, with 1 p.m. the time of the services with the Rev. Conrad Auel officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. Due to COVID-19 all guests are to wear a mask and practice social distancing with a capacity of 25 people in the funeral home at a time.
