Every high school football player has fond memories of senior night, but Frazier’s Kenny Fine will never forget his special day after scoring five touchdowns Friday in the Commodores’ 39-0 victory over Beth-Center.
Fine gained 114 yards on 22 carries and pulled in one reception for 13 yards and a score.
“It is very special to be able to celebrate senior night, but I just played like it was any other game,” Fine said. “It was nice to have such a good day on my last time playing at this field.”
“Kenny is unbelievable, and I know he could play at the next level,” Frazier coach Greg Boggs said. “He is an unbelievable talent, and he does it on offense, defense and special teams. He is a playmaker.”
Frazier’s victory sets up a Century Conference showdown at Washington next week. The Commodores need a win over the Prexies to qualify for the postseason.
“In a normal year we would have already qualified for the playoffs, but because of COVID and they are only taking two, we are in a playoff game next week at Wash High,” Boggs said. “They have one loss and we have one loss. That puts it all on the Wash High game.”
