Julian is at it again!

Julian Nahas, 6, of Monessen has found a way to quench his thirst for giving back to his local police department while also quenching the actual thirst of his neighbors. In September, Julian, with help from his mom, Arley Nahas and stepdad Mike Dziak, successfully operated a lemonade stand outside his Marion Avenue house, with all proceeds benefiting the Monessen Police Department. Julian, who adores police officers, veterans and active-duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces, wanted to use the event to not only raise money for the police, but also to bring his community together in fellowship. And now, he’s at it again. Julian’s Cider Stand, a “grab and go event” where free apple cider, hot dogs and baked goods will be given out, is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1530 Marion Ave. Donations will be accepted with all proceeds benefiting the police department. All are welcome to attend, meet the local police and say hello to their neighbors. Those who attend are asked to practice social distancing.
