George Myers – Monongahela, formerly of Webster

George Myers, 63, of Monongahela, formerly of Webster, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020, in his home. A son of the late Eli F. Jr. and Jean Bolden Myers, he was born on Nov. 20, 1956, in North Charleroi. George was a former member of First United Methodist Church of Monessen and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. He was employed as a welder and taught welding at Westmoreland County Community College. Survivors include his wife, Christeen Mackey Myers of Belle Vernon; her son, Scott McAfee of Perryopolis; and her grandchildren, Aubree McAfee, Nevaeh and Ian; a sister, Claire Huebner of Carroll Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Denise Myers of Webster; and nephews, Jesse Huebner, Miles Huebner and Logan Huebner, all of Carroll Township. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eli F. Myers III, in 2011. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
