Online contest enters third round with Baby Buttons

There is a new addition to the “Mr. Buttons” family – which means another round of guessing.
The winner of the second round of the button game was announced last week, but there was another surprise.
The online guessing game developed by Roscoe resident Marcy Cox began last summer when she introduced Mr. Buttons, a Mason jar filled with sentimental buttons, to the world.
The game caught on in the Five-Town area, with more than 300 people participating.
After the game ended, Mr. Buttons eloped with his girlfriend Mrs. Beets, so his brother, Bud, stepped in for the second round, which ended last week, but not before the announcement that Bud is an uncle and there will be a third round of the game.
Guessing for Baby Buttons began Wednesday.
