Patricia J. Bukowski, 77, of Monessen, died Thursday April 2, 2020, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born on Dec. 22, 1942, in Anniston, Ala., the daughter of the late John Hnatko and Marie Sappo Foster. Patty grew up in Monessen and was a 1960 graduate of Monessen High School. She owned and operated B&K Upholstery and Drapes for 20 years. Patty served on the City of Monessen school board for 10 years and on Monessen City Council for four years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father who raised her, Charles Foster; and by her sister, Pamela Thieser. She is survived by a son, Timothy (Laurel) Bukowski of Rostraver Township, a daughter, Amy (Ron Piasecki) Bukowski of Monessen; four grandchildren, Ronnie and Cassidy Piasecki, Cole and Noah Bukowski; as well as great-grandson, Camden; her brother, Tim (Marty) Foster of Oswego, Ore.; and a sister, Cheryl Hampton of Monessen; two half-brothers, Charles (Michelle) Foster of Rochester, N.Y., and Robert (Goldie) Foster of Wenatchee, Wash.; a brother-in-law, Bruce Thieser; special nephew and niece, Chris Foster and Jessica Thieser: and her favorite companions, Rockie and Rosie. Due to the pandemic, private visitation and funeral services will be held at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. & CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, with Rev. Michael Crookston officiating.
