Judith L. Fisher is being remembered as a “perennial candidate,” most recently running for office last year when she sought to become the Washington County Register of Wills.
Fisher, 80, was found dead at her home in East Washington Friday morning.
According to the Washington County Coroner’s office, the death was from natural causes and does not appear to be suspicious.
However, it is under investigation by the East Washington police.
The coroner’s office is seeking assistance in contacting Fisher’s next of kin, saying attempts to reach Fisher’s son were unsuccessful Friday.
