The pieces are still being put together from Wednesday evening’s manhunt in Monessen, which resulted in a suspect being picked up on outstanding warrants.
Charges related to Wednesday’s incident had not been filed as of Thursday afternoon, and Monessen police officials said they were still being prepared.
Meanwhile, James Darnell Foster, 28, whose most recent address is listed as Waynesburg, but who has listed an address in Monessen in the past, was initially held at the Westmoreland County Jail on warrants from Westmoreland and Fayette counties.
He was arraigned Thursday afternoon before Magisterial District Judge Michael Metros in Uniontown on charges stemming from an incident 11 months ago. In that incident, Foster was charged with flight to avoid apprehension, driving under suspension and vehicle violations. Foster was placed in Fayette County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bond on those charges following his arraignment Thursday afternoon.
