Cougars hand Rebels first section loss

Charleroi handed Seton LaSalle its first Section 2-3A loss of the season and clinched a playoff berth by claiming a 55-43 victory over the Rebels Thursday night.
The two teams finished the first quarter tied at 10-10. In the final three quarters, Charleroi (12-7, 8-4) outscored Seton LaSalle, 45-33.
Bella Skobel led the way for the Cougars with 21 points, while Kaitlin Wagner and Cierra Gazi finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Vanessa Hudson paced the Rebels (14-5, 11-1) with 19 points.
