Moon hands TJ third straight loss

Moon outscored Thomas Jefferson, 16-4, in the second quarter to take a lead it never relinquished in a 55-52 Section 3-5A victory.

Reilly Sunday led Moon (10-4, 5-3), and all scorers, with 26 points. Emma Theodorsson chipped in 14 points.

The Jaguars (10-5, 5-3) were led by 16 points from Graci Fairman. Alyssa DeAngelo, who was honored for scoring her 1,000th point prior to the game, finished with 13 points and Maddy Trainer went for 11 points.
