Ringgold considering youth gun safety video

Do your kids know what to do if they find a gun?

Students in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade in the Ringgold School District will soon learn a catchy tune that will help them remember what to do.

“Stop! Don’t Touch. Run Away. Tell a Grown-up.”

Eddie Eagle will teach them this message set to music that has the potential of becoming an earworm, but don’t worry, it shouldn’t reach “Baby Shark” levels.

The Eddie Eagle GunSafe program is a gun accident prevention course that aims to help adults teach kids what to do if they ever come across a gun.
