The upcoming 2019-20 season will be the fourth in existence for the Frazier wrestling program.
In their first three seasons, the Commodores had great individual success, all in the name of three-time WPIAL champion and two-time state champion Thayne Lawrence.
But this season will be all about the team, according to third-year head coach Buck Watkins.
“Our team expectation this year is to win our first dual in school history,” said Watkins. “This year is about hustle and toughness. I hustle in my job daily because I don’t want anything handed to me. I want to earn it. I am working on teaching these young men the same.
“Success has one price and it’s non-negotiable. I want my guys to understand they must have willingness to pay that price for us to succeed as individuals and a team.”
