Fans of classic comedy throughout the Mon Valley can act like knuckleheads and get their nyuk-nyuks out at the annual Three Stooges Film Fest at the Grand Theatre in Elizabeth.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. tonight and Saturday. It features five of the trio’s short films, along with shirts, concessions and an appearance on Saturday by Rich Sanner, a friend of Paul Howard, son of stooge Moe Howard.

Theater co-owner Lori Kolodziej said the fest has been running for more than 10 years and always takes place during the second week in November.

“It used to be one night a week, but we have to have it on two nights now,” she said. “It’s nostalgia and it’s comedy. People bring their kids.”
