Cougars capture first-round win over Burrell

The Charleroi boys soccer team was an offensive juggernaut during the regular season, outscoring their opponents, 143-17.
Players such as Cullin Woytovich, Eben McIntyre and Jace Kepich contributed to the offensive success to the Cougars all season long.
But in a 3-1 win over No. 12 Burrell in the first round of the WPIAL Class 2A playoffs Saturday, it was an unlikely source who put the fifth-seeded Cougars ahead early.
J.D. Fleming gave Charleroi (18-1) a 1-0 lead less than four minutes in, burying a rebound of a Kepich shot and save by Bucs keeper Dom Ferra.
