With Halloween and Thanksgiving right around the corner, Allegheny County Parks is encouraging Mon Valley residents to take advantage of several fall-themed activities at White Oak, Round Hill and South parks.
The parks department announced Thursday that it will again host “Movies in the Park” this year, and the cinematic, free events will feature two family-friendly “spooky” movies.
“Hotel Transylvania,” rated PG, will play at sunset tonight at the Round Hill Farm Visitors Center. That same movie will play at sunset Saturday at White Oak Park’s Redwood Shelter.
Participants are asked to arrive at 7 p.m., and will be invited to take part in arts and crafts activities.
