Mon Valley Alliance celebrates progress

After what the Mon Valley Alliance is calling a successful year of work in area municipalities, there is more to look forward to heading into 2020: Action.
During its annual gathering at Vinoski Winery in Rostraver Township Wednesday, CEO Ben Brown gave a brief overview of current, completed and ongoing projects over the past several months.
“Uniting with partners including state, county and municipal governments as well as local and regional community service organizations and foundations allowed us to leverage our impact and achieve meaningful change in our region,” Brown said.
Many of those changes are happening at area industrial parks in Donora, Speers and Fallowfield Township as new companies move in.
Nine Energy began constructing its new regional headquarters in Alta Vista Business Park, Fallowfield Township, earlier this year.
More jobs are on the horizon.
