Third man arrested in connection with discovered body
By TOM DAVIDSON
A third man wanted in connection with the investigation of a Monroeville woman whose body was found Thursday morning in a McKeesport park turned himself in to police Friday night, officials said.
Ramonta “Mo” Yancey, 26 — who has ties to McKeesport and Pittsburgh’s East End — was taken into custody at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh on a prior warrant for a parole violation, Allegheny County Police Inspector Andrew Schurman said.
Authorities say Yancey had avoided police Thursday night, when officers from South Strabane arrested two other men allegedly caught inside the car owned by the victim in the parking lot of the Walmart in the township.
Clyde Cox, 27, of Pittsburgh and Daron Parks, 26, of Bridgeville, were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property for being in the woman’s silver 2007 Chevrolet Impala. Police didn’t know at the time that a third man, Yancey, was inside or near the store.
