A standing tradition in Buena Vista will resume this weekend after being washed out by severe flooding last year.

The 14th annual Buena Vista Volunteer Fire Company Car, Truck and Bike Show is set for noon Sunday at the social hall.

The event, which is one of the fire company’s largest fundraisers, was put on hold last September when severe flooding put most of the community under water.

The basements of area firefighters and residents, the community pool and the fire company’s social hall were quickly filled with several feet of water that left behind tons of mud and debris.
