James Michael Parilak – Williamsburg, Va.

By obits

James Michael Parilak, 66, of Williamsburg, Va., died Friday, April 12, 2019. Born in Charleroi on Jan. 15, 1953, he was the son of the late Leonard Regis and Annie Kermes Parilak. James worked in Newport News for the shipyards after completing one year of college Penn State Mt. Alto. His greatest love was gardening and planting flowers and he always had a smile on his face when he was working in his yard. He loved his nephew and nieces and never missed sending a birthday, Christmas or Easter card. He lived a meager life and was generous with what he had, giving religiously to the charities he believed in – most particularly the sheriff`s department and fire department. He was a quiet and reserved man, barely speaking, but that all changed when he watched his beloved Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates, and due to his fierce loyalty, he was one of the biggest and loudest fans! He will be sorely missed by his sister, Laura Amada Bagdadi and husband Ariel; two brothers, Joseph Parilak and wife Lisa and Lenny Parilak; nephew, Lucas Bagdadi; and nieces, Abreonna and Adalyn Parilak. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver Township, with the Rev. David J. Nazimek presiding. Entombment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com.
