Bearcats looking to fight with everyone back

By Mon Valley Independent

A year ago, Bentworth’s boys soccer team struggled through a 4-14 season that included ending the campaign with five straight losses.

It was an anomaly for Bearcats coach Gary Amos, who has taken Bentworth to the playoffs nine times since 2009.

The good news for Bentworth fans is that last season is just that – last season.

Bentworth returns a veteran team with all 11 starters back, including a key performer who missed most of last season.

“Last year, I didn’t have any seniors and I don’t think I ever had a team without seniors,” Amos said. “This year, I have everybody back and I never had that before either. I’m excited to see what this team does.”
