Janet Marie Ritenour – Rostraver Township

Janet Marie Ritenour, 82, of Rostraver Township, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019. Born in Smithton on April 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Bietel Oberlietner. Janet was an accounting clerk for Westinghouse Corp. in Large, Pa. She also worked at Willowbrook Golf Course, where you would find her laughing and talking with everyone. Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren, babysitting and baking sweets for family and friends. She was a member of the Hope Memorial Lutheran Church in Smithton and the Order of the Easter Star. She is survived by her husband, Eugene A. Ritenour; son, Scott (Dana) Ritenour of Peachtree City, Ga.; daughter, Erin (Matt) Scrip of McMurray, Pa.; grandchildren, Andrew and Ryan Ritenour and Abby, Mia and Mason Scrip; brother, Terry (Diane) Oberlietner; and aunt, Myrtle Harvison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James and Richard Oberlietner; and sister, Betty Sickle. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Matthew Stabe officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
