Route 51 circle ramp to close at Elizabeth Bridge

PennDOT District 11 announced a long-term closure of the northbound Route 51 circle ramp at the Elizabeth Bridge in West Elizabeth, beginning today. 

The northbound Route 51 circle ramp to southbound Route 51 at the Elizabeth Bridge will close at 6 a.m. today and work will continue through early September. 

A release stated road crews will conduct bridge rehabilitation, expansion dam replacement, concrete overlay placement, painting operations and attenuator installation. All work will take place weather permitting, and traffic will be detoured.
