Top-seeded Campy’s Pizza will play for its third consecutive Grebb League championship.
The two-time defending champions took advantage of a relatively shorthanded Farmers Insurance squad, rolling to a 99-52 victory Tuesday night at California Middle School.
Campy’s (9-2) will meet No. 3 Union Cleaners in the championship game on Thursday.
“We played well, but when the other team comes in and plays without their top players, it’s hard. (Farmers) suffered through injuries all season long and I really thought they had a lot of talent on that team,” Campy’s head coach Naz Victoria said of Farmers, which played without the services of its two leading scorers, Cam Nusser and Devin Whitlock.
“If the kids aren’t here to play, it changes the game, but we took care of business. We did what we were supposed to do and we’re moving on.”
