DEP, Department of Agriculture have grants available for farmers

Two state agencies recently announced available funding for local farmers. 

On Friday, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection announced $1 million in grant funding available to small businesses and farmers for energy efficiency, pollution prevention and natural resource protection projects. 

The same day, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture announced $500,000 in funding, the first available through the PA Farm Bill.
