Clara Panepinto – Charleroi

Clara Panepinto of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2019. A long, good and well lived life has ended. Clara has joined her beloved Ross and Ross Jr. Rossi in heaven. Clara Panepinto was born on July 1, 1926, in Charleroi, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Teresa Bruno Rossano. She lived a life of faith, love and cherished her family, church and friends all her days. As a young woman, Clara worked at Model Cleaners. She married the love of her life, Ross Panepinto, in 1949. They started their family with the birth of their son, Ross Jr. and then with a second son, Ronald Panepinto. Clara is survived by her son Ron, (Mary Jo) Panepinto; her granddaughter, Lucia; and great-grandson, Neiko. She is also survived by her sister, Rosa Mazzie; her devoted niece, Judy Beichner (Marty); her nephew, Alfred Mazzie (Nancy) and many nieces, nephews and godchildren. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Rossano; her sister, Phyllis (Fanny) Caruso; her beloved husband, Ross; and her son, Ross Jr. (Rossi). Clara was a devoted Catholic attending Mass daily at Mother of Sorrows and Mary Mother of the Church. She was also a very hard worker having worked at Mary Toth’s Market for several years until its closing. Clara was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, godmother and cookie baking machine. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Mary Mother of the Church or Charleroi Meals on Wheels. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019, at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday July 27, 2019, in Mary, Mother of the Church Charleroi, Seventh Street and Washington Avenue, Charleroi.
