New charges have filed and an arrest warrant has been issued for a second suspect in a February robbery in which $38,000 was allegedly taken from a truck following bingo at the Roscoe Fire Department.

William Srdich called authorities after the money went missing from his truck, telling police his window was smashed in and his glove compartment had been pried open. Srdich said he was carrying that much cash because of problems at home, according to police reports.

After viewing surveillance videos, Srdich and his daughter both identified his ex-wife, 48-year-old Chantal Srdich of Rostraver Township, as taking part in the theft, police said.

She was charged Friday with criminal conspiracy theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. She is being held in Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 1 before Magisterial District Judge Larry W. Hopkins.
