Monessen’s comprehensive plan now has an online site

Monessen residents can now weigh in on the city’s comprehensive plan online.

As part of the implementation of the Early Intervention Program, which was completed in 2017, the city was awarded a $90,000 grant through the state Department of Community and Economic Development to implement the comprehensive plan. 

The grant contract requires a $10,000 match from the city.

The project is led by the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and facilitated by planning consultants Mackin Engineering and MGR Consulting Inc.
