George Dzvonyik, 67, of Donora, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019, at his home. George was born April 1, 1952, in North Charleroi, son of the late George and Laura Tabish Dzvonyik. George had a real passion for music, especially songs by the Beatles. He also loved camping and enjoyed nature and his Facebook friends’ comments! With all of his medical problems the last couple of years he kept strong and always said “It is what it is.” In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Jean Dzvonyik. Survivors include his significant other of 37 years, Diane Matafka of Donora; a sister, Gloria (Vincent) Grimaldi of Washington, Pa.; and two nephews, Gary M. (Frances) Deresh of Puerto Rico and Edwin F. Deresh of Cleveland, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L.
