Dennis Stitch knew his team needed to get back to their winning ways if they wanted to gain any momentum heading into playoff action.

His Cedarbrook squad did just that Monday night by defeating Lee Supply, 29-18, in J. Budd Grebb Memorial Summer League girls action at the Mechanic Street Playground.

Stitch was happy with his team’s effort but knows there is more work to be done if they hope to make a run at the championship.

“They’re a good team and it was important for us to get back on the winning track,” Stitch said. “The girls played really hard and I’m glad it was a good defensive effort because they really have some scorers and good plays that they run. It was a good win overall, I’m very proud of our team tonight.”
