The rains came and washed away 2/3 of the J. Budd Grebb Memorial Basketball League slate Thursday night.
But thanks to a group effort, the court was dried long enough to get one game completed.
In that game, Tri-County Realty upped its record to 2-0 with a 54-34 win over Dairy Queen. The game was played with a running clock in two 16-minute halves.
Tri-County dominated the earlygoing, starting off with a 17-4 run behind seven points from Beth-Center guard Andrew Bower.
“I thought the team played well, it was a little more of a relaxed game. They didn’t let the elements stop them, though,” Tri-County Realty coach Aaron Balla said. “We came out and scored early and were able to keep the lead.”
