Charleroi firefighter assaulted

A Charleroi man is accused of aggravated assault after allegedly punching a Charleroi volunteer firefighter during a call the department assisted with on Sunday. 

Tyler Frazier, 19, of Eighth Street is charged with disorderly conduct following the incident. 

Charleroi Regional Police were called to the 800 block of Crest Avenue for a person who was not breathing.

When police arrived on scene, there were several people standing outside and a resident was performing CPR on Lewis Rawls, an affidavit of probable cause states.
