Forward Twp. adds officer

The Forward Township Police Department added a new member during Monday’s Board of Supervisors meeting.
Township supervisors voted unanimously to hire David D. Bruce as a part-time police officer.
Bruce, 58, grew up in Forward Township and now lives in Elizabeth Township. He is retired after spending 32 years as a supervisor for the Pennsylvania Office of State Inspector General. He was a police officer for seven years prior to working for the commonwealth.
“They can expect professionalism and fairness, but integrity is number one,” Bruce said. “I always felt like I would come back and never leave.”
