Black crushes 10th, Serra rolls over NC

Mark Black continued his all-out assault on WPIAL pitching, stroking his league-leading 10th homer of the season to lead Serra Catholic to a 14-0 win over North Catholic in a WPIAL championship rematch at Pullman Park.
Black finished perfect at the plate, 4 for 4, adding a single and two doubles to his homer on his stat line.
The St. John’s recruit finished with three RBIs.
Four Serra Catholic (17-2) pitchers combined to allow only three hits in the five-inning affair.
Logan Exler picked up the win as he struck out a pair and allowed two hits in two innings.
