Commodores top Cougars in three innings

Frazier needed just three innings to topple Charleroi, earning a 15-0 victory in Section 3-2A play Saturday.
The Commodores (11-2, 9-2) used scored five runs in the first, seven in the second and three in the third to capture the win. They finished with nine hits and were led by two-hit efforts from Emi Curcio, Juliann Johnson and Tori Washinski.
Washinski homered and drove in a game-high five runs. Johnson had two RBIs while Rylee Evans and Logan Hartman each drove in a run.
Katie Reed, Taylor Boyd, Kylie Quigley and Cierra Gazi accounted for Charleroi’s four hits.
