Getting Lauren Mastowski to commit an out has been a difficult task for opposing pitchers during the Frazier graduate’s first season of collegiate softball.

A key member of Frazier’s WPIAL Class 2A championship team in 2017, Mastowski leads Penn State Fayette with a .429 batting average, 10 doubles and 32 RBIs in 27 games.

Mastowski has 10 multi-hit games this season and has picked up at least one hit in 10 of her last 11 games. During that span, she is hitting .500 (17 for 34) with a whopping 19 RBIs.

In a doubleheader against Penn State New Kensington on Tuesday, Mastowski was relatively unstoppable. She went 5 for 7 during the pair of games, going 2 for 4 with her first collegiate home run in game one. She closed out the day by going a perfect 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs in game two.
