Eagles’ offense clicks in 10-1 win over Jayhawks

It took two innings for Serra Catholic to go through its lineup for the first time against Jeannette Wednesday afternoon.
The good news was the Eagles scored two runs during that span. The bad news was that they only picked up one hit.
Adjustments were evidently made the second time through as the Eagles struck for five runs on four hits in the third inning, gaining much needed separation in a 10-1 victory over the visiting Jayhawks in Section 3-2A play at the Boston Ballfields.
Serra Catholic head coach Brian Dzurenda had a feeling his team would eventually get things going off Jeannette starting pitcher Seth Howard.
